It’s funny, in a way—Gen V tried so hard to recapture that same feeling of exploration and new discovery of the Gen I games, and in the end, Gen VI is the one that actually pulled it off.
I understand why Black and White only let you catch Unova pokémon for the major part of the game. I swear I…
Pokemon fans: The new pokemon are so unoriginal! Game Freak are running out of ideas…..
Translation: I’m so afraid of change because it reminds me that I’m getting older and so I’m angry that the company that made my childhood is moving on and creating new things for a younger age group and not pandering to my nostalgic wet dreams.
OMG what have I become? I litterally just went through all the #genwunners stuff and found that I was almost lost.
I /am/ getting older…I’m going to face it, and buy Pokemon X or Y. Yep! I need more rants! I must change my close minded ways! To GameStop! Huzzah!
Two. One to change the light bulb, and another to constantly complain about how the first light bulb was better.
Hello everyone! Sorry for being very quiet lately but I’ve been incredibly busy with my social life, school, and commissions. Now I’m back to analyze something that I covered before in a journal entry I made months ago. I thought that I needed to make a new entry since there were many things I forgot to mention, and I need to correct some mistakes I made in said entry. Nevertheless, the reception of that journal entry was especially hilarious since some Genwunners started debating with me with their cute little nostalgia filled opinions. Hopefully with this journal entry we can all be more civilized and I can correct the errors I made.
I might actually buy Pokemon X or Y because of this post. I may not be a genwunner or whatever they’re called, but maybe I should start accepting the generations after the 2nd. I feel as though this was a compelling argument/statement that would do well against the genwunners and such. The cohesion has lead to changing the mind of an old fart who use to play Pokemon. In many ways, it’s like saying the golden era was the 70s. Or the best times were in the 90s. Overall, times change.
The appearance changes it’s look, but do the properties change along with it?different look, classic style? In any case, I’m buying X or Y. I’m ready to start playing Pokemon with my friends again.
I can’t keep up with the Pokemon nowadays. I dropped off the scheme after the 3rd generation. I stopped watching the shows and stopped playin the games. I still love Pokemon. Just wish they didn’t cheapen things :/ mayhap they didn’t, and I’m just an old fart elitis who thinks first and second generation are the only ones that exist. There may be more that exist, but the best ones where the 1st and 2nd.
